shea1980 Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Hi all on fc2 my joystick is very sensitive on all plane,s,i am using a logitech 3d pro, pitch and roll are very sensitive and the saturation x and y are up to 100% and curvature and deadzone are at 0%,can someone tell me should i decrease the saturation?and if so by how much, thanks so much all:helpsmilie::thumbup: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
BlackSharkAce Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 well i'd put like a 25-30% curve to begin with, if your stick has some "play" near the middle, use a 1-3% deadzone, that' should do good for a beginning :)
mig29 Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 (edited) I too had that sensitivity problem. Now I have saturation point at 70% on both pitch and roll axis. And my curvature is very small in the beginning and very steep towards the end. See, most of the time you don't need to yank your aircraft. Frazer Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 (edited) I would advice not to use a reduced saturation, this will prevent you from using the full range of pull like in reality. I also found that (mainly) the pitch is still too sensitive in FC2 and for sure doesn't come close to reality if you use a short based stick like most of us do. A curve of 25% is much better, though I prefer to use a usercurve. This usercurve will give you enough stability in the area you normally use. Somewhat like using a reduced saturation. Still though, in case you need to pull 100% it's still there (for example, when you want to put your nose at the enemy right now and don't care about speed bleeding off). For roll and rudder, I would use 25%curves with 5%deadzones Edited September 17, 2010 by Frazer Forum | Videos | DCS:BS Demo1 / Demo2 | YouTube Channel [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
