Succellus Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 (edited) Since i give myself to much time to think about flight sims than i should be allowed to, i always come with stranges ideas.:music_whistling: Since Warthog has no rudder plug and i will have to use Cougar base for such as long as i use an analog rudder (thrustmaster RCS); And since flying the k50 without FFC sucks, because you have to move the stick to the midle and pray, and doing a FCC in the warthog deserve a headshot, and my brain is unable to coop with the "back to the middle feature" of black shark. :( I was wondering in planning in a distant future, in a distant galaxy, to transform my Cougar in a FFC stick so i can play WW2 and the K50 in a more enjoyable way. But this raise at leat a couple of questions. 1) Is there a good company to transform the cougar in FFC that doesn t require you to send the base to another planet. Base is heavy, fret ain t cheap. ( i m am not a fanatic that need the perfect stick to the corresponding plane, if i get warthog i ll play any plane it can fly, i just think TM could make a russian kind of handle now that warthog is beetween the leg placed, and that russians prefer it that way, pun intended, no country offenses meaned, just a bad joke, sorry couldn t resist :D) 2) If i am using the cougar base as imput for my RCS and use the warthog, won t windows/games have a brainfart recognising 2 diferents input stick at the same time (FFC and non FFC) ? Or just the fact that one is not being moved will solve this, i m sure this would be the case for 2 non FFC sticks. I know nobody probably know the true answer to both questions, but any guess and info are welcome. sweinhart3 Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 I assume you mean FFB (Force feedback?) Windows can recognize any number of joysticks even if they are all the same. It is simply a Human Interface Device. BS will allow several axis from different devices to be assigned to the same thing as far as I know. At least it works for buttons. So you mean i can plug an FFB and non FFB stick (yes that was it) at the same time without problem ? Great now i just need to know who sells FFB module for cougar if any.
