Well, I've been on the verge of breaking down and buying TrackIR for MSFS. Now that I need all these hat switches for the A-10 systems, I think DCS A-10C will push me over the edge. I have one question though...

I've seen some discussion about TrackIR not having 64 bit drivers. I use Windows 7 64-bit (DCS A-10C 32-bit won't even run on my computer and want to make sure I understand this correctly.

My understanding is that TrackIR will still work on a 64-bit system, even when running something like DCS in 64-bit mode, but you will simply be using the 32-bit software for TrackIR.

As long as TrackIR will work with MSFS and DCS A-10C on my 64-bit system, I'll be ordering it ASAP.

It works fine.. You can use 64bit drivers on 32bit O/S but not the other way round.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

BUT The 64-bit version of A-10 does not yet communicate with the software of TrackIR. So in effect your TIR won't work yet with the 64-bit version of A-10. Only the 32-bit version.

NaturalPoint is working on a 64-bit version of their software so this will be fixed in the future.
