Just thought I'd share this with you as it took me a long time to upload. The following is takeoff / combat / landing footage from an A10 mission I have just for testing.

 

Watch in 720 or 1080 resolution for best experience

 

 

Hope you enjoy it! Combat starts at 5 minutes, beginning is there is you wish to see me prepping systems etc.

Haven't got them working as I want yet... should be able to drop a CBU from over 8 KM and have it explode over the target area scattering skeets, ingame it seems to just explode at the moment at 8 KM a few hundred meters below you. Afaik there is no settings to configure for the CBU105 etc that I've been using, assumed it was a bug for now unless someone can correct me?

Wonderful video and thanks for sharing. Remember to disengage nose-wheel steering once you pick up enough speed to get some rudder authority when taking off. Trust me; I've had some unfortunate accidents leaving it on and using the rudder when rolling down the runway ^^

Yeah thanks! Been reading up on the takeoff speeds, I've been taking off at 160-180 due to the loads I've been carrying, apparently I'm meant to be climbing from 120 onwards though.

 

Everyday I learn more and more :). Thank you for the nice comments anyway, shame I'm not a video genius, could of made it much better with some editing skills!

 

I assumed you guys would of liked to see the bombs drop on external view, if that's not the case I'll do it all hardcore from the cockpit next time.

What are your graphics settings? My setup is similar.

 

Nice flying as we all have very little time in these hog.

 

Need to record multiple times to get different cameras the edit together. Takes time.

Nice vid although for my taste you switched the views way too much and when doing so, it wasn't really clear what you were trying to show.

 

And one last thing, did your flaps brake or why did you land without them? :)

My left elevator was borked, had trouble getting the nose down enough with flaps due to lift generation, took the chance and landed without them as I was on a nice approach and AOD. Sorry about the view switching... that is down to my editing skills :music_whistling:.
