Hey Revelation, how do you like that H50? I'm trying to decide between the Thermaltake Spin-Q and the H50. I'm just not sure how well a $80 water system would perform :ermm:

I love my H50!

Before it I was using a big a$$ Zalman air cooler, I was overclocking my Q6600 to 2.7-2.8 GHz - somedays it was stable at 2.8, others it wasn't. My IDLE temperatures were 60C, under load I often hit mid 80's.

Enter the H50... I have a very stable 3.2GHz overclock, idle temperatures are 35C and under max load I have hit 55C on one core. The other cores typically stop around 51-52C.

The H50 performs great, yes you could easily spend more and get better performance. For only $79 it was a steal! If you want even cooler temps, you can go with an H70 for $100.

Thanks for the info, picked up a H50 at best buy today and just finished installing it. Idle temps on my 6400+ went from around 55C down to 26C. I also mounted the radiator outside the case, took the fan off of it and mounted it right in front of my tornado desk fan :D I'm going to see how close to 4.0GHz i can get now:music_whistling:
