Wolverine88 Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 On the Fast mission generator if you select Nevada map and put in a Start from Ramp selection the Fast Mission Generator will not generate a mission and will give you a "Mission not Generated". So I have to go into the mission editor and make the changes I want while in the editor. On the same thing when I'm making the changes in the editor on the mission quickly generated I notice that changes made to A-10 and F-15 paint schemes will not happen even though I hit the save button in the editor after making the changes. Steel Jaw Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Same for me. Maybe because the Nevada map was said to be unfinished as yet? Soundman Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 (edited) Fixed it ! Thanks Wags. In the FAQ it tells you to go into the mission editor and select the nevada theatre. Don't know if all these steps are necessary, but it's what worked for me. Inside the Mission Editor, from the file menu select "new" Select the Nevada Theatre Highlight U.S. Side (blue) and click the arrow to move the U.S. Flag into the "Neutral" box on the left. Select "OK" and the map should come up. From the "Generate Mission" menu (up top) select "Generate" Once loaded, exit. The "Quick Mission Generator" should now work for the Nevada theatre. Soundman Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 (edited) @ Wolverine88.... This may be hard to communicate because of the different parameters you mention but....:D Not sure about the differing paint scheme, but I have no problem generating a "Fast Mission" using Nevada after the following the above steps mentioned, with runway or ramp starting. However, it seems once any changes are made, entering the mission editor is necessary to "reset" changes. Wolverine88 Posted October 16, 2010 Author Posted October 16, 2010 Yep, seems to have worked at least for the mission generator... so far no joy yet on the paint-scheme thing though...:noexpression: Windows 8 Intel core i7 64-Bit 4GB RAM NVidia Geforce GTS 860M 2 monitors
159th_Viper Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 ...so far no joy yet on the paint-scheme thing though...:noexpression: Works fine: 1- Select 'Create Fast Mission' 2 - Select 'Advanced Mode' 3 - Generate Mission 4 - Select 'Edit Mission' 5 - Find you Flight/Airframe Icon and select 6 - Select Payload tab and set skin under 'Paint Scheme' tab. 7 - From 'File' drop-down menu, select 'Save as' and save mission for future use. Fly and skin will be as chosen/selected. Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? Click me to commence your Journey of Pillage and Plunder! kylania Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 I'm not getting all the Paint Schemes to work. I wanted to make a gallery of them, but most of them seem to have no effect, like Desert 1 and Desert 2 and Snow and Flipper, all seem to still be the default. I've only seen two variations one with blue stabilizer tips and one with black. 159th_Viper Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 Skins are a WIP. At present with the Open Beta (In numerical order from Paint-Scheme drop down menu), variations are as follows: 1-10/19 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 20 21 So, at present there is a selection of 11 schemes available.
