After playing su-25t with AFM, all other aircraft seem to be very easy to fly and I kinda lost the joy of flying them, especially su-27. Flying su-25t is a great joy and a real challenge. You have to really keep an eye on nearly all of the instruments, avionics, etc. Hope ED have time and initiative to give us AFM of other aircraft with successor of Lock-On...

BTW, I have a problem with the joystick sensitivity. I have MS Sidewinder FF joystics and the joystick sensitivity is very nice for su-25t but all other aircraft seem to be acting very sensitively compared to 1.02. Is there a solution for that? Should I change the deadzone, etc adjustmenst everytime I change the aircraft?

Hehe, I know what you mean . . . .

There isn't really a solution for the joystick thing - the Su25T is designed to have the control axis curves dead straight, since the responses are so close to the real thing. This doesn't work with the other jets . . . . and no, there's not really anything you can do about it other than change the response curves every time you switch over.

Yup--me too--I'm flying the Su-25t exclusively. Can't wait for the next product, or next AFM to come out!

The AFM is so great that flying the other planes just doesn't feel right. Landing a 25t peppered with holes is no easy task!!(but it's great :) ).

About the sensitivity thing maybe ED can implement different input curves for different aircraft so we can have the straight one for the 25 and 25t and curved ones for the rest.

That's one good feature to the CH setup. I make a seperate map for each plane. I leave the inputs in the game straight, and then set the curves I want for each plane in the CH maps.

Hi all.

Definetelly. SU25T is a flying tank while SU27 is fighter and a lot more easy to control.

:) Tank my ass, a tank moves, it's a brick....no it's a cinderblock. Take a cinderblock and throw it 15 feet and thats the 25t. Now take that block and go throw it in the air and make it do a loop, you will have just as much luck getting the 25t to do a loop.

I have been flying the Su's lately and I have really enjoying LOMAC/FC1.1 more than ever. Learning to control the 25 and 25t are going to be very much a challenge, and if that's how it really flies IRL, you have got to truely admire that pilot.

I was going NOE with it last night and that was getting to be a whole lot of fun, trying to keep the block in the air, find my targets, attack, and evade the AA and SAMs. You have got to admire that pilot :icon_jook . -KILSEK

Doesn't 'feel' right? So you've flown the A-10, F-15, MIG-29A/G/S and Su-27/33 aircraft in real-life huh? Must've been interesting.
