Two questions

Hi guys,

 

On two consecutive "started-everything-up-by-myself" flights I've discovered that I'm missing some, but can't figure out what. The two problems I'm getting (which might be connected) are:

 

* "CCIP INVALID" HUD warning, even when I'm in the Nav Master Mode.

* No GCAS warnings even when I'm skimming the ground and nose-on to the side of a mountain.

 

Hmm... would failing to activate the radar altimeter on the LASTE panel do this? That's the only thing I can think of that I might have failed to do.

As far as GCAS, yes..you need to activate rdr alt...i've had that issue with the CCIP shortly after takeoff. I've found that if you cycle through your weapons then switch the hud back to NAV, the msg goes away.
