Fish Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 (edited) 1. I can see from the manual that flight plans, and waypoints can be created from the EGI. However its not clear if a waypoint can be created in the flight plan, from the cursor position on the TAD. I know it can be done for mark points. 2. Can a created waypoint or flight plan be removed using the EGI ? Cheers. Kaiza Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Yep, you can make markpoints in the TAD, so you just do it that way. [SIGPIC]http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/2500/a10161sqnsignitureedite.png[/SIGPIC]
Fish Posted October 17, 2010 Author Posted October 17, 2010 (edited) Yep, you can make markpoints in the TAD, so you just do it that way. Cheers, just cracked it............. 1. make markpoints from cursor on TAD 2. make new FP on EGI 3. make new waypoints and assign markpoints to each. 4. select the new FP as current. 5. switch CDU-Steerpoint rotary to FLT-PLAN Sweeeet...... Now how do i remove WP's or FP's? Frogfoot1606687865 Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 If my memory serves me correctly there is a button on the TAD (second one up on the left hand edge OSB 17), which will copy the current hook as a mission point. So you could do the following 1) select TAD as SOI 2) Slew cursor to where you want the WP 3) TMS right to set mark point 4) TMS up to hook the mark point 5) Hit OSB17 to add markpoint as a Waypoint I assume you will then have two copies one as a Mark point and one as a WP. What benefit this would give you I don't know.
