Grimes Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 (edited) I do have some questions regarding the mission editor. Some may be a "if no, please add to wishlist" sort of comments. :D 1. I noticed that land AI units lack "change formation" and "go to waypoint" commands. Is this to be implemented in A-10C? 2. What sort of lua scripting is possible? What sort of information is present within the LUA? Would it be possible to create "LRM-esque" LUA code? Can it be used to set flags? 3. If LUA can't set flags. Will current group status conditions be added to trigger conditions? So we can use triggers to read changes created by advanced group actions. 4. Can Nav points be implemented as a possible non-group specific waypoint? I.E. Create 100 groups and assign no specific waypoints, then use triggers and advanced actions to determine where to send AI. edit: 5. Can add/remove radio items be associated with specific player slots, countries, and/or coalitions? 6. Can cockpit arguments be placed on specific (client) aircraft? Some of the guys have been asking if I could create a super cool multiplayer based training scenario. swift Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Good questions there. Maybe if you post that in the 'open' section of the forums, someone in the known would chime in. After all this section is for mission editor issues.

Pigmachine Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 I might be the most dense person on the planet.. but how do you make waypoints in the editor?? (for the a-10c) I start at the runway, name that Wp takeoff.. and then.. I .. am lost!? So how do you add waypoints in editor? Don't tell me to search the forums, since I done that, and don't call me an idiot (even if I deserve that). :helpsmilie: CPU i7-6700K 4,3Ghz, RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666M 2x16GB, GPU Gigabyte Gaming G1 GTX 1080, Monitor Benq 24" 1920x1080 @ 144Hz, MB ASUS Z170-A, OS Win 10 Pro (Creators ED), HOTAS X52 Pro, VR Oculus Rift Cv1

Pigmachine Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 (edited) After what you have just done just click somewhere else on the map and that will give you waypoint 2 click on the next location and that will give you waypoint 3 etc That is the problem.. clicking anywhere else just takes focus away from my plane/flight. WP's work with all other flights but the A-10C. Might be some strange beta error (only?) I have, since I havn't seen anyone else complaining about it. EDIT-> Solved it!.. you have to start from parking to be able to setup WP's in my editor at least.. Thanks! kylania Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Make sure you have "Add" selected under the Waypoint list on the bottom right of the plane info window. Then when you left click somewhere you'll add a waypoint rather than select that point or something. Fopeyducker Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Easiest way is NOT to mess with waypoint 1 until you are nearly finished. WP1 near an airfield then just keep clicking for the rest of the WP's last one near and airfield. THEN change WP1 and the last one to takeoff and land 1 --------------- MSI GD65 Gaming | i7 4770k Haswell @ 4.7ghz, | H110 water cooler | 32Gb ddr3 | Sound Blaster Zx | MSI GTX 1080Ti | 1x 250Gb SSD's + 2x 500Gb SSD | Acer Predator 34" (3440x1440) | TrackiR 5 + UTC Light | Win 10 Pro 64bit | 2x Thrustmaster MFD's | MFG Crosswinds (ordered) | Thrustmaster Warthog :smartass: --------------------
