britgliderpilot Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 Tied in to the new ejector seats, and the pilot still being visible after he lands . . . . If you eject, separate from the seat, but hit the ground before your 'chute opens, your shattered body is clearly visible. Ouch. But in a cool way. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/britgliderpilot/BS2Britgliderpilot-1.jpg
Force_Feedback Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 it's done very clever, if you eject and the chute fully opens, you'll see the chute with a bulge, if it diesn't then you see this dead guy thing. BTW, most people I see flying don't even eject, even after their f-15 has lost both wings (and they're still alive). Too bad you can't cartwheel in a su-25t without dying, otherwise it would be cool to time your ejection. Oh, and the seats are still underpowered, they act more like Mb. Mk10 seats rather like the ACESII (it has a diagonal ejection profile in most situations) or k-36, which can deal quite well with high sinkrates. Oh well, I have my ejectsim, screw lomacs ejection seats. Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
Trident Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 Super EF2000 did that too IIRC, but it actually was gory there *shudder*
Prophet_169th Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 EF2000 was a great game. I think its the first flight sim I played online and really really got into.
Trident Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 Definately. What was most impressive about it was the atmosphere, music in a flightsim is usually a recipe for disaster but the EF2000 score was bang on.
