Action command: Stick to trimmer control. Just saw this is mapped to Joy button 3 on X-52 as default. Before I go ahead to test this; does anyone know what that switch does? Did not find anything with search ;)

It was mentioned in the beta forums:

OK, just checked, it is different to Black shark - this is what you do (use the Rctrl-& enter indicator too.)

Press button - move & hold stick in any direction (Centre point moves slowly) - release button.

I had decided to use the stick to trimmer control in my profile until trim was added to the axis controls, but I've found that it's very intuitive and comfortable to use. I would suggest changing your stick sensitivity though, as the stick defaults are so sensitive that trimming is difficult at the defaults. I use 5/100/57/27 for both pitch and yaw personally. I'll probably continue to use 'stick to trim' and find another use for my X52pro x and y rotation radials.

It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm

HiJack & StrongHarm, just checking in with you, I have a X52Pro, looks just like the layout pictured in the StrongHarm's picture, however my throttle button for "Stick To Timmer Mode" is labeled as button 7, rather than button 3. Can those who have an X52Pro confirm this for me?

StrongHarm, have been using your profile, have'nt used all of the features in-game as yet, but really appreciate your efforts, keep the great work!!

Well right after install the first thing I did was screening all key and joy bindings to use for profiling as I clear all joystick defaults. There is where I found the BTN 3 assignment. If you use StrongHarm config thats a good profile ;)

You can set the assignment back to default for the one command by selecting the cell and use "reset to default" button.

If the sim crashes (to be expected in beta) sometimes the profiles revert to default. I created a persdef folder in input and saved my configs to there. It's simple to go in and load these when needed. Be aware that when you save a config, it saves only the input type of the selected column.. for instance.. if you have a keyboard command selected and save profile it will save all the keyboard commands.. if you have a command in the joystick column selected, it will save your joystick profile. I saved profiles for : mouse, keyboard, x52pro, pedals, trackir. The must be loaded separately as well.

I have just noticed this function is conflicting with radio switch, there is double mapping in DCS A-10C 1.1.1.0.

I have no idea how it works, I suppose it is some sort of "easy convenience"?
