Markbnj Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Hey guys. I just picked up the platinum edition, and what a great sim. Really enjoying it. I do have one problem, however. I bought a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, and am not able to get the throttle working in FC2. When I run the Logitech profiler all axes and buttons are working and can be calibrated. But in the game control options axis tune screen there is no response from the throttle axis, and nothing happens in game when I try to use it. A related issue is that I can't seem to reassign any of the buttons. I wanted to assign two of the top buttons to trim up/down. When I click on the rectangle to the right of "trim up" (or down) in the "Logitech Extreme 3D Pro" column it highlights, and when I click the button I want to assign the highlight jumps to another rectangle and no assignment takes place. If anyone has a working profile for this stick that would solve all the issues I guess. Thanks for any help!
combatace Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Go in the controls/axis commands menu in game, select thrust in joystick column. Now first clear whatever is preset which might be fs_slider1 and set it to joy_slider1. 1 To support my models please donate to paypal ID: hp.2084@gmail.com https://www.turbosquid.com/Search/Artists/hero2084?referral=hero2084
vanir Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 (edited) yeah default is an axis instead of the slider I have this stick and just clear the current, select add then move the slider manually, joy_slider1 shows up. don't forget to set some curvature in the edit axis tab for the pitch/roll/rudder axis it's actually a good stick because it has so many (12) buttons plus the hat, and you have the left and right keyboard modifiers so effectively have an almost unlimited amount of presets for a nearly HOTAS effect with relatively little keyboard juggling considering it's hundreds of dollars cheaper than a proper HOTAS flight control setup Edited November 5, 2010 by vanir
