Flamin_Squirrel Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Hi guys. I've learnt how, using mark points, it's possible to create a new flight plan while in flight. When I activate that flight plan however, it still refers to the waypoints as marks, not proper waypoints - if that makes sense. Any way to convert them?
ronht Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Did you activate the new flight plan after you created it?
Flamin_Squirrel Posted November 6, 2010 Author Posted November 6, 2010 Yep. It forms a nice new flight plan on the TAD, but the names of the waypoints in the HUD refer to them as Marks, and they're the only points I can access (eg, none of the airfrield waypoints are selectable).
Fish Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 I've tested this and there does not seem to be any way to 'rename' the waypoints of a flightplan. But not sure why you would need to? What would be nice, would be a facility to 'clear' mark points, as it can be confusing to keep track of what they are and which ones you created last.
