Creating a new flight plan in flight - problem

Hi guys.

 

I've learnt how, using mark points, it's possible to create a new flight plan while in flight. When I activate that flight plan however, it still refers to the waypoints as marks, not proper waypoints - if that makes sense.

 

Any way to convert them?

Did you activate the new flight plan after you created it?

Yep. It forms a nice new flight plan on the TAD, but the names of the waypoints in the HUD refer to them as Marks, and they're the only points I can access (eg, none of the airfrield waypoints are selectable).

I've tested this and there does not seem to be any way to 'rename' the waypoints of a flightplan. But not sure why you would need to?

 

What would be nice, would be a facility to 'clear' mark points, as it can be confusing to keep track of what they are and which ones you created last.
