SkipCarey Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Im knew to DCSa10C so bear with me, but why is throttle backing down at times without any input from me(Im using a Cougar ATM)is this some kinda engine protection scheme in the sim?it happens in the training missions and the free flight missions and its annoying as hell I have not even tried any combat yet just trying to learn to fly it..............
koyan Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Comes to mind, make sure there are no other controllers assigned to same axes. Can't recall what exacly, but i had a thing going when i moved aileron, the elevator would move a little too
tusler Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Also before you start A10 check your controls calibration from within windows. Ultimately you need to get to the "game controllers settings" menu. I get there through the control panel-->hardware and sound-->devices and printers. Then right click on any joystick/etc. and select "game controllers settings". From there it's just like all the old versions of Windows. Personally, this is one place I feel like Windows 7 took a step backwards.
SkipCarey Posted November 7, 2010 Author Posted November 7, 2010 It all checked out in windows Hopefully its ok now many thanks for the help
Check6 Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I had that issue and it was the Man Rng/ Uncage axis messing it up. I just went into A-10 and removed the double entry. Hope that helps if none of the other offerred solutions worked.
