My Warthog perdicament

So my wife comes home ad I tell her, "Hey, I pre-ordered a $400+ joystick. Yeah, it's expensive but that's why we work our asses off....so we can get things we want."

 

and her response.....

 

"Ok, I thought you wanted the flying cockpit "thing" though (Obutto) and a TV to mount on it?"

 

So, it apears I can either keep my Warthog pre-order OR go with the Obutto cockpit and get a TV to go with it this coming month.

In all actuality, she proably doesn't care if I get all three, but we have a little boy and a little girl on the way so I am trying to not go too overboard regarding my spending.

 

Part of me just wants to keep my CH stuff since it still works just great. The tech-geek in me wants a shiney Warthog though. lol

 

A cockpit would be nice though. That way I can use it for my flying and racing sims.

Spend now or you'll never spend again! :) I can tell you the WH has dramatically increased my skill at flying and using the systems of the A-10. It's been really great.

Hard to answer. I've never tried the Obutto, but I've been eyeing one lately. The HW is in high demand and for good reason, so you really can't go wrong IMHO.

Yeah, the Obutto looks like a pretty darn good deal.

 

Do you fly corporate? We are supposed to get rain tomorrow (of course our weather out here is usually wrong. lol)

I'll be in a US Airways Express jet landing around 2130 or so. Saw the rain... Usually "greases" up the runway nicely before touchdown! :)

 

That wasn't me looking for an IT job, but if you know of one I might consider a career change. ;)
