power5 Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 100% guess, but no. I am sure if you could even find the code that describes the FM for this, it would be way way more than a one line entry to change. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Aaron i7 2600k@4.4ghz, GTX1060-6gb, 16gb DDR3, T16000m, Track IR5 BS2-A10C-UH1-FC3-M2000-F18C-A4E-F14B-BF109
thinkr Posted November 9, 2010 Author Posted November 9, 2010 thx for your reply power5. How about much faster rudder turning ability? :book: It would just be for fun. power5 Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 I would imagine anything with the FM is going to be extremely intricate and nearly impossible for anyone besides a Flight Sim programmer to figure out and re-write. Though, having seen A-Team this weekend, I have to say that the Huey Med chopper in the opening scene is a much more agile bird than the BS. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Aaron i7 2600k@4.4ghz, GTX1060-6gb, 16gb DDR3, T16000m, Track IR5 BS2-A10C-UH1-FC3-M2000-F18C-A4E-F14B-BF109
ronht Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 The flight model in BS is excellent and accurately modeled after it's real world counter-part. If it's not turning quick enough for you, chances are the problem is that you are flying it too fast, also use more of the rudder for turns instead of banking - I see too many people trying to fly it like an airplane.
Dejjvid Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 You can fly 120km/h at groundlevel (5-10m) in a town and still have full control with this bird. So if you feel it's too sluggish, it is probably pilot error, since this is one of the most manouverable helicopters in the world.. i7 8700K | GTX 1080 Ti | 32GB RAM | 500GB M.2 SSD | TIR5 w/ Trackclip Pro | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Pro Flight Rudder [sigpic]http://www.132virtualwing.org[/sigpic]
Panzertard Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 In singleplayer, go fly. Press LCtrl+Z once or twice. Or ten times. You now got your DCS:Hummingbird. ;) The mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open | The important thing is not to stop questioning
Bucic Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 In singleplayer, go fly. Press LCtrl+Z once or twice. Or ten times. You now got your DCS:Hummingbird. ;) That's some thinking outside the box right there  Regarding requested modification. Ka-50 physics model has airframe stress limitation coded so you could end up disintegrating on every turn. ZoomBoy27 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Also might want to try the Flight Director[R.CTRL + A] It helps with tight turns but remember to keep your speed lower ZoomBoy My Flight Sims Page - Link to My Blog - Sims and Things - DCS Stuff++ - Up-to-Speed Guides to the old Lockon A10A and Su-25T - Some missions [needs update]
