Great profile, good job! Is there a special way to use the H3 with the S3 (shift)? Every once in a while I'm able to get the snap views and night goggles to work, but other times not. Do I have press the buttons in a certain way?

First you have to use the "toggle snap" key (=S3+H3U) then you can use the different snapviews.

Thanks, but even when I have toggled snap, it still only works sometimes. And turning on snap view is flunky, too. It's as if it doesn't accept my S3 with the H2 and H3 inputs. Does the H2 and H3 inputs have to be short or long (when used with S3?).

Hmm, just a short tap is enough for me and it works all the time.

Strange. For how long do you have to hold the S3?

All the time it takes me to press the button I need atm. Typically it looks like this: press and hold S3, push H3U, push H3L/R/D, release S3

Now I've tried for two hours, and it seems really random when it will accept my S3+H2 or S3+H3 input. When I try the input combinations in Setting-Controls, it has no problem with understanding my commands. Any suggestions?

Double tapping H2 or H3 while S3 is pressed works. Sort of like double clicking a mouse. Finally! Time for some flying.

Snapviews work randomly for limitations of the DCS:WH, i try solution this, but is imposible, is a limitation of the simulator.

This, is the best solution of the 10 i try.

For use snapviews remember, first need activate snap, use and desactivate for use other functions.

I am trying to use the snap views for my Cougar, based on the graphic layout picture in the initial post, I should be able to snap view using H2 & H3 (IN). All I get when I do this is slow panning around cockpit. I looked at the joystick and macro (below) and I can see why. Now I attempted to replace the joystick command with what is stated in the macro, and all I get is a fast flash and its back in the cockpit center view. I have actually entered the commands directly in the keyboard and I do get a snap view as long as I hold it E.G. “LWIN +Num1” gives me snap view for left panel. In addition, I would love to say hit H2 left (in) and it snap view to say Left MFD and stay there so I dont need a 3rd arm to use the mouse to click on buttons. I have been doing some searching to figure this out, but there are hundreds of hits on say (Cougar snap views) but I couldn’t find a particular thread for this? Thanks

La foto de la disposición de palanca de mando en el primer poste, yo necesito que. archivo de clt así que lo puedo redactar.

Excuse my delay in responding.

 

In Hotas Cougar with Foxy not exist .clt files. The files in the zip of the first post is the MASTER of my work, all of you need is there, not have more files.

 

And you can use Catalan or Spanish for say me ;)

La imagen que usted tiene de la disposición gráfica viene de un archivo que es creado cuando hizo la disposición, su justo no enterado que existe en el sistema Astuto de archivo. I have some problem setting up my Cougar with the Simped rudder though. In the game Options>>Control I tried to setup the toe brakes but the game doesn't seem to recognize the axises when I moved them. I also see my toe brakes are assigned to axis 9/10 and and they are crossed out in Cougar CCP, labeled "This axis is not seem by Windows".

 

Am I missing something?

 

Also, I see the Warthog default NSW to button4 of my HOTAS, do I need to remove that setting too? (as the profile already set the pinky button to "INS" key)

Ok after some research, it seems like Windows limits each input device to 8 axises. By pressing my toe brakes it was simulating 'k' key press in Falcon AF.

I have modified the original Thrustmaster Cougar file from original,, all was fine until I changed key mapping so I could use the keyboard to type into the CDU. Everything is fine except I cannot use my snap views. I have remapped the snapviews to use the “LAlt + KP#”, when I use the keyboard to do the snap view,, all is well, but the Cougar is NOT emulating the same command apparently? Although the syntax for “Snap View” represents hitting the same keys, what I get is the actual numbers getting typed into the CDU instead? The “Cockpitpanelviewtoggle = {RCTL KP0}” functions just fine, but it wont change snap views unless I physically hit the keys directly on the keyboard?
