So, the F-117's stealth capabilities are rendered null by a Sa-11, Sa-10 site.

 

However, i've noticed that the Nighthawks are engaged not much further away then what most other a/c would be engaged.

 

Also, all that heavy RAM seems to make them impervious to direct hits by Sa-10s

 

So, it's very hard at this point to actually see how effective the stealth is modeled because of how awful SAM sites are acting at the moment

I'm fully aware that it can be shot down, and has been. It just seemed that they were targetted at the exact same time the rest of the strike package was.

Sounds like the F-117 crews got a little too bold. Always flying the same routes etc thinking they were invulnerable. Grated it was only one F-117 loss though.
