AUTOPILOT SWITCH?

Hi, hate to ask stupid questions but I dont see autopilot under controls. i tried a button and no go. is it known by a different name? thx.

I believe "1" engages the relevant autopilot, and "2" cycles through them..

(i.e. the numbers above qwerty (or azerty for that matter)). I'm not sure though, because I setup the autopilot using my thrustmaster warthog

There are two ways to engage the Low Altitude Auto-Pilot (LAAP), via the throttle quadrant A/P engage button or the left throttle button.

 

The LAAP will only engage when EAC is armed and the aircraft is within the appropriate bank and pitch limitations for the desired LAAP mode (Path, Alt/Hdg, Alt).

"Q" key is the keyboard toggle for Autopilot.

I thought it was the "a" key?

Default it's Q for the left throttle button and 1 for the LAAP engage button on the LASTE panel.

Actually, this seems to have changed in Beta 3, the previous versions used "1" for LAAP engage, but Beta 3 now defaults to the "a" key.

Everyone should just get a TM WH and not have to deal with the keyboard anymore to do things. :) heh

Still getting to grips with an x52 Pro, using it default out of the box. I must look into how the dam thing works one of these days.

I used to own a x52 (non-pro), but if you need some pointers, don't hesitate to ask somewhere on the forum :)

Thx, all. I am so used to thirdwire sims contrls and remapping so this is slightly harder.
