With stock cooling on Auto, the cards ATI 5870s. Run Quiet and cool, Since heat rises, this case cools very well with case fans and gpu fans pushing the heat out the top of the case. Konovalov Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 in my old coolermaster stacker 832 my gpu (4870x2)idled 40 degrees in my new the same gpu idles at 80 degrees That sounds seriously wrong idling at 80. Sounds like you stuffed up your modding of the cooler because that idle temp is far above what it should be. Dare I ask what the card temps are under load? Possibly good for toasting marshmallows. Intel i7-8700K | Asus Maximus X Formula | Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR4 3200MHz | Gainward Phoenix GTX1070 GLH | Samsung 960 EVO NVMe 1 x 250GB OS & 1 x 500GB Games | Corsair RM750x 750W | Corsair Carbide Air 540| Win10 | Dell 27" 1440p 60Hz | Custom water loop: CPU EK-Supremacy EVO, GPU EK-GTX JetStream - Acetal+Nickel & Backplate, Radiator EK-Coolstream PE 360, Pump & Res EK-XRES 140 Revo D5, Fans 3 x EK-Vardar 120mm & 2 x Corsair ML140 140mm
Lumper Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 I think he is using fahrenheit not celsius, which will make it about 26.6 c. Lumper ------------------------------------------- When the going gets tough, the smart cutout. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

TeeJay82 Posted November 28, 2010 Author Posted November 28, 2010 I think he is using fahrenheit not celsius, which will make it about 26.6 c. Its celsius M8 seems like the arctic cooler 4870x2 aint made for flipped mobos. it doesnt rise "more" than 5 degrees under full load wich brings it to 85 degrees celsius.. anyway put the 4870 back in a pc with normal horizontal laying and its back to 40.. so now im running with a gts250 at 35 degrees at full load in my raven cabinet :/ hopefully my 580 will arrive tomorrow
