Looking at the video posted on <YUCK>Facebook</YUCK> you can see that the speedbrakes do not always retract in sync. Can this effect be reproduced in-sim? I don't have enough time to investigate this right now but I wonder how this can be done and why? The video can be found at

Look for it at 00:47. Does anybody know?

According to the A-10a Manual TO 1A-10A-1 pg 2-9

In the before taxi checks (ie on the ground stopped) there is a note that states:

"Speed brakes may not retract simultaneously due to lack of airloads."

Thanks Lobo! That actually makes sense.

BTW: are you "Lobo" from the Flanker days? Way back when got drunk in the Flanker O'-Club and getting slapped around with smelly trouts? :-)

I resemble that remark! Ah the good old days of Flanker O club, beta testing... IRC, Headcase & crew, and those smelly trout! Lobo slaps Chaos around a bit with a large trout.
