GTX 460 SLI setup

Well, backed myself into a corner by winning a 768mb GTX 460 card....I was hoping to SLI with my 1024 mb GTX 460, but realized there is a memory difference there:doh:. Is it still possible to SLI? Thanks for any advice.

Don't think so. Besides the memory difference the 768mb also only got a 198 connection, while the 1GB got 256 connection.

Aint that program Nvidia PhisycX&*¨&%¨something that allow diferent Nvidia GPU to work toghether, not as good as SLI but still gaining a boost ?

after what ive read... you can use a 8800gtx (example) in sli with a 460.

 

the 8800gtx will take (some or all) physx load off your main gpu, making it more focused on the other stuff

Which only helps if PhysX is a noticeable component in the game you are running... ;)

And there aren't many games that take advantage of that. Flight sims it is even worse.
