Hi

i bought the beta 4 version and it rocks!

DCS make a great job!

But i have currently 1 problem.....dont matter which button i assign the command, the communications menu wont appear.

I understand that i have to set the radios, but i set them, as assigned in the 1st mission of the 1st campaign.

Also i realized, the second VHF comm unit only allows 2 digits to enter before the decimal.

So no numbers like 126.00 can be entered there, only below 100.

som my question now, how can i enter comm menu?

and what are the radio untis for.....in order from throttle backward...

VHF AM

UHF

VHF AM

thanks for help on this.

Have you selected easy coms in the options menue. I have mine for realistic and I have the mic keys assigned. If easy is selected then this key work \. Every thing from atc to Jtac has a freq assigned to it. Whether it is am or fm you have to put in the correct freq in the proper radio.

Is easy comm still backwards or is it really easy now when selected?

I dont want easy comms myself so wanna ensure it's not on.

Hi Vienna, welcome to the Forums!

I put together a Radio Tutorial a while back to help cover the basics of realistic radio use. I hope it helps.

Here is a link to my Radio Tutorial: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=61349

You will need beta forum access, if you dont have beta forum access, check this link: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=61793
