dane48 Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 I would really look forward to this but have one request. Could you please put it in a .miz file? I tried everything and cannot get your first version unpacked to play. That goes for all files unless they are miz files. I know others have had problems; I know it has been explained how to do it, but I have been unable to get these missions to play unless it is a .miz. Thanks for your consideration "To most people, the sky is the limit. To those who love aviation, the sky is home."-----anonymous
-C.O.U.G.A.R- Posted January 1, 2011 Author Posted January 1, 2011 A miz file acts as a .rar or a zip archive, SO NO need to unpack it, just put it as it is in to the mission or mp mission file. 1- Win7 U 64 2- AMD Phenom II X6 3 GHz 3- 8 GB DDR3 1600 RAM 4- SLI X2 MSI N460GTX Cyclone 1GD5/OC 5- 1 22" monitor in use [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
WarriorX Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Hi Cougar, I am having a blast with your mission. Thank you for your hard work. One request please to add an Air Defense Battalion to Batumi Airport. When flying multiplayer, with no labels, it is very hard to pick out the KA50's that eventually get to Batumi and destroy me on the tarmac while refueling/rearming. WarriorX Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Just one more please, can you make the JTAC use a smoke marker for targets? or maybe even a laser designator? Thanks again for the hours of great gameplay. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "Is that you John Wayne?.......Is this me?" -C.O.U.G.A.R- Posted January 1, 2011 Author Posted January 1, 2011 JTAC is not fully working yet for MP missions so it's out. 1- Win7 U 64 2- AMD Phenom II X6 3 GHz 3- 8 GB DDR3 1600 RAM 4- SLI X2 MSI N460GTX Cyclone 1GD5/OC 5- 1 22" monitor in use [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Do you mean the folder that all of the files come in or just the mission file itself? I believe I have tried either way and it never workds. I'll get back to again, but I am not sure?? I'll get back to again, but I am not sure?? EDIT. Tried it and it still doesn't work. I put the whole folder in missions and nothing happens. If i click on that it just takes me to sub folders. When one makes a mission and saves it for himself, it is saved as a .miz file. At least for me. What happens to the rest of you. Is it not saved as a .miz file? Thanks "To most people, the sky is the limit. To those who love aviation, the sky is home."-----anonymous
mtuckner Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Question, in the files section there is Operation Pushback 1.0 and Operation Pushback 1.1. Are these the same version, just one updated, or is 1.1 Operation Pushback II?
WarriorX Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 dane, I download it via Firefox and it comes in as a .miz file no problem. Topcat357 Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 A .miz file IS the mission file. Sometimes your browser wants to unpack it. Dont. Just Save As into mission folder. TC
dane48 Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 A .miz file IS the mission file. Sometimes your browser wants to unpack it. Dont. Just Save As into mission folder. TC I haven't unpacked it. When it is saved to my folder, it says it is a rar file. I then copy it to the missions area and cannot run it. So what gives with that? "To most people, the sky is the limit.
