Taco Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 These guys make a bunch of panels for the civilian flight sim world. I sent them feedback asking about the possibility of doing at least the UFC for the warthog. Depending on what they say would anyone else be interested in getting one? It does look like it won't be cheap but since I already dropped half a grand on sticks what is a little bit more. :megalol:
WarriorX Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I would have said "count me in" until I saw Helios paired with touchscreens. I now believe that that is the direction I will go as it can change with me. As much as I would like a dedicated A10C physical switch pit, the reality is I can not afford it. metalnwood Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I had a lot of their panels at one point but sold them off as my interest in fsx started to die I kept a couple of panels, one was a radio panel gf166 and the other was a multifunction radio panel, the gf46. I looked at the site the other day and now the developers sdk is available for download, in the past I believe it wasnt. So I downloaded it toput my multifunction panel to use. I could use it to cycle through the radios and use the rotaries to tune in.. Then I find that it doesnt support that panel in the sdk. A shame as a few people have this kit and would like to integrate it with a10 I am sure. I am using helios as well but a touchscreen doesnt beat a real rotary for radios.
reilar Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Regarding an UFC see this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=62995 This doesn't look cheap either but it could be an alternative if no manufacturer are interested to make one.
Taco Posted January 13, 2011 Author Posted January 13, 2011 I have heard nothing back from them. bummer.
