The Lone Wolf Coalition <LWC> is actively looking for private pilots who are interested in joining us for the upcoming SATAC event.

To be honest, we want to participate to have fun but also to get a good result.

 

Our enlistment conditions :

 

- Not belonging to any virtual squadron (lone wolf).

- Stable internet connection and FC2 installation.

- No aircraft restriction (for the MiG-29S drivers, ability to switch to the Su-27 if needed).

- Establishing a minimum air-to-air ratio of 5 with at least 15 air to air kills on the 51st server during the 1st selection phase which is ongoing until the 15th of March 2011. The 3rd and 4th March weeks will be dedicated to 6vs6 fighter sweeps training sorties before the official kick off scheduled on early April 2011 ( minimum kills have been lowered to 15 instead of 20, this is a condition for a Direct Qualification, potential pilots who are close to achieve it are listed below, please do not hesitate to PM me if you see your name on the list and are interested in joining us.)

What I mean is:

 

Whether F15C or SU27 or Mig29, for this competition, Missile mount or mount to load the default, allowing the player to complete the call ground missile loading, so that is also convenient to all the team's tactical configuration.Best to mount the player to choose the default！

 

Aircraft missiles mounted into the sitting position should be the players after the call through the ground, with the team, according to their type of tactics to choose missiles, rather than imposed must select fighting each aircraft missiles; this contest is to pay all the team competition Tactics and coordination, rather than a single individual flying skills, for which I think is not necessary to mount each aircraft hold back!

Yeah, some big names are missing here, can't imagine this big party without the Serbian Eagles, 3sqn, TuAF, 141st, 59th...

 

Some other popular squadrons might be short on active pilots like 238th LBAE, RvE...New teams like GR should also jump in...

 

Come on gentlemen, there is nothing like flying with the squadron fellas and defending the house colors!

Unfortunately, we were unable to get 16 teams to sign up. This means we'll have to reorganize the format a little bit. The championship will first involve a group stage, and then the top two teams advance from each group. Each team will get to fly at least 5 matches. The timeline for the event will therefore be extended by a week or two.

This is even better than with direct elimination as a bad day may not reflect the real level of a team. Unfortunately LWC could not grab enough pilots, but will follow that FC world cup from close! I wish tracks/tacviews will be uploaded so we spectators can live the event as well :D

Unfortunately, due to administrative reason and lack of pilots/teams, I have no choice but postpone the event indefinitely (possibly fall 2011). I urge teams that have scheduled matches already to go ahead with their plans and fly those matches. The 51st servers will be available for any of those matches if requested.

 

Im sorry to all who planned for a great championship and I hope to restart it again, once the interest is high enough.
