zaGURUinzaSKY Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 When trying to hovering (flying with 90° angle of climb, still in place with full power...) with the Su-27, I fly in place for some seconds then my airplane bounce and climb again (I assure you I used no rockets and did not fart..). Can u ED do something about this UFO maneuvers?? Robbie.
TBT_Piper Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 You have too much thrust to hover. Use less thrust. I held the 27 in the are for over a minute lol. It was great. Also make sure your perfectly plumb.
zaGURUinzaSKY Posted June 14, 2005 Author Posted June 14, 2005 I'm talking about an impossible reaction.. not about piloting techniques... Robbie.
TBT_Piper Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 Well when you do it correctly you don't get that bug. :icon_roll
zaGURUinzaSKY Posted June 15, 2005 Author Posted June 15, 2005 Flying with full power it's not an incorrect maneuver, you're talking about how to avoid the bug, but it remains a bug... Robbie.
Andrew_McP Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 Can u ED do something about this UFO maneuvers?? We'll only lose this kind of behaviour *if* (and it's a big "if" unfortunately) the Su-27 gets the advanced flight model. If you want satisfying behaviour on the edges of the flight envelope you'll have to fly the 25 (and use x2 time acceleration to make it a less boring aerobatic experience ;-). Andrew McP
zaGURUinzaSKY Posted June 15, 2005 Author Posted June 15, 2005 ah ah... oh man, I can't have a serious answer.... nice idea anyway.. thanx Robbie.
