Distiler Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 (edited) Hi! So, if you have two exes named the same, you can't create different nvidia profiles for each one, it seems it doesen't take into account the path (using nvidia inspector for more profile flexibility, still can't do it). So if FC2 is simulator.exe and DCS:Ka-50 is the same, I can only create 1 profile that affects both. Also, nvidia default profile for DCS:Ka-50 uses dcs.exe and that might conflict with whoever wants to create a DCS:A-10C profile (I don't have it, but I think it uses dcs.exe too) Is there any solution that I haven't found yet? Can't we have different exe names for each simulator? Edited February 10, 2011 by Distiler AMD Ryzen 1400 // 16 GB DDR4 2933Mhz // Nvidia 1060 6GB // W10 64bit // Microsoft Sidewinder Precision 2
Ragtag Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Unfortunatly no. the Black shark driver profile will be used by A-10. Then you can add the simulator.exe and make a new profile but that one will be used by BS and FC2. I hope ED will clean this up. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I7 3930K. 16Gb Corsair Vengeance 1866mhz. CarneyUK Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 I have this problem, I am using the DCSBS profile in the NVidia settings for DCSW. Even if you try to add DCSW it won't allow it. Also tried using launcher.exe, but it doesn't help as the graphics won't effect the in sim settings from launcher.exe. "The sky is not the limit.....it's my playground!!" @paraglidecass

Distiler Posted March 14, 2011 Author Posted March 14, 2011 Bump! ED, do you have any plan to name differently executables? I don't mean launcher.exe, I mean the simulator executable. for example dcska50.exe, dcsa10.exe, dcsf18.exe, etc (fc2 can be left as simulator.exe) AMD Ryzen 1400 // 16 GB DDR4 2933Mhz // Nvidia 1060 6GB // W10 64bit // Microsoft Sidewinder Precision 2
