Weaponz248 Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Fast and low! The AIR package is suppose to rapidly slow the bomb down so the Jet has enough time to get away before impact. Best way would be CCRP and the 5 mil option( most accurate IMO). Line it up and go fast lol! Also if you can post a track of you dropping one we can take a look at it and see what you may be able to improve upon.

nemises Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 be aware of wind ! They will get blown of target by ze vind!.... A lower delivery will get more accurate results (assuming you use N/T fusing to deploy the chute...bit dangerous without!) 1

Dropped them in Pairs and the Result was fine (2 of 3 Destroyed) Maybe i was a little too low. As for your delivery I would go from a level approach. Should get you a more accruate hit from CCRP. If you prefer the nose done I would switch to CCIP.
Heli Shed Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 (edited) Mk82 air's for <1500 ft, level attitude. Make sure your CCRP mode is on CR - 5 Mil, adjusted via the IFCC menu. Come in at 30 degrees to target area to avoid being shot down by turret mounted weapon systems. Watch CBU Vid Part 2 for the 5 mill method, employ the same principles.
