I've seen in the mission editor how one can change the "bort" number (tail number) but everytime I try to put my jet's tail number, 146 in the window I get a 78-346 for a tail number. 80-146 is my jet here at DM in the "Dragons" and I'd like to get some great screen-caps with my jet as the main object. Any help would be appreciated.

Part of the tail number is incorporated into the texture, and part of it comes from the number entered in the editor. I thought it was 3 digits that were transferred from the editor, but maybe it's only two, or perhaps that also varies based on the skin selected.

To get the tail number you'd want I think you'd have to create and use a custom skin for the aircraft.

It's only 2....the first one is baked onto the texture for the aircraft. I don't why they didn't allow for the whole 3 or even whole 5 number. Perhaps in a future patch.

I actually created a skin of my buddy's A10 he deployed with to A-Stan including the serial number. He flies for the 75th FS out of Moody. Anyways, it seems only the last two digits you put under "bort" is implemented in the skin so for yours you would need to change the large tail number from "3" to "1" and then in bort use "46".
