At http://www.simhq.com/_air4/air_130b.html Cat writes "It should be installed to a fresh and v1.02 patched install of Lock On." I´m just curious why he writes this, when it says on the official ED pages that it can be installed over any Lockon version 1.0, 1.01 or 1.02. ? I´ve read Alfa´s and Ice´s stickys as well.

You do not need to apply any patches prior to installation of the V1.1 "Flaming Cliffs" add-on. As Witchking mentioned, V1.1 includes all previous patches and the installer was designed to upgrade Lock-on from a clean V1.0 (base CD version) to V1.1 directly. However, as mentioned on the official page, it can also be installed over the patched versions(V1.01, V1.02) - but since it is recommended that you apply V1.1 to a fresh install, there is just no need to go though the patching, since the V1.1 installer will overwrite them anyway :) Also note that the V1.1 installer is a universial one - i.e. it will work with any localised(French, German, Spanish etc) Lock-on base version. - JJ.
