Hi!

 

I am collecting typos/errors I found in the training missions. I'd like to see them fixed in an upcoming patch.

 

 

UPDATE! Some of the typos/errors have been fixed in the latest patch v1.1.0.7. Errors that have now been fixed are marked in GREEN, those who are still present in v1.1.0.7 are marked in RED. Newly added typos are marked in BLACK.

 

 

1. A-10C Familiarization

 

1.1 Introduction to the A-10C Training Mission

1. Your jet is waiting is waiting on the ramp, so let's get to it. → Your jet is waiting on the ramp …

2. … backup systems that keep the A-10 flying even after sever (→ severe) battle damage.

 

 

2. Aircraft Operation

 

2.1 Aircraft Start-Up Training Mission

3.3 GAU-8/A and Unguided Rockets Training Mission

1. Press the HOTAS DMS RIGHT command or PAGE-DOWN on the keybaord (-> keyboard) to select the 4,000 ft. Gun Cross sight.

2. The CCIP Gun Reticle also features a numerical indication of the slant range to target in nautical miles (-> two spaces between the words, remove one) below the reticle.

3. Let's bring up CCIP mode to review (-> two spaces between the words, remove one) HUD indication used for unguided rockets.

3.4 General Purpose Bombs Training Mission

3.7 Air-to-Air Training Mission

3.8 Countermeasures Training Mission

1. The Countermeasures Set (CMS) of the A-10C includes: the Countermeasure (-> Countermeasures) Set Control (CMSC) panel on the front dash

Up or Forward

 

While you are correcting things. One thing that I found slightly disconcerting at first (now I just translate in my head) is that the training instructor refers to TMS Forward as TMS Up, for example, and uses Down instead of Aft. I just found it odd after reading the manual for quite a while:book: and then doing the training to be told to do a 'whatever' Up and having to pause for a moment since Up did not compute immediately.:huh:

 

A very minor point I admit.
