vegachavez Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 While flying in campaign mode the symbology on my HUD and the landscape beyond began to blur then a few seconds the symbology began to double! This continued to get worse...I then checked my instrument panel which was normal with no sign of distortion. Just to make sure I was not having a seizure I checked my room and that was also normal.:megalol: Has anyone one encountered this issue with the (DCS) A-10? My best guess is that my video card was overheating, could that be the cause?

I think 20.000f is a good altitude to set it to 100% oxygen.
Cornbread Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Hey, yeah. I've been having this happen on Devil's Cross only (so far). It looks to me like the HDR values change all of a sudden -- like HDR doubles in value, which produces a momentary blurring effect similar to how the original HDR looked, but a bit more extreme. Anyone else? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
vegachavez Posted March 14, 2011 Author Posted March 14, 2011 Thank you for the intelligent answer...make sense. I`ll go back and check which mission it happened on.
vegachavez Posted March 14, 2011 Author Posted March 14, 2011 It happened to me in "The Shore" I`ll try " Devil`s Cross" later tonight.
vegachavez Posted March 14, 2011 Author Posted March 14, 2011 I forgot to mention my HDR option is set to OFF!
StrongHarm Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 O2 or cabin pressure most likely. It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm
kingneptune117 Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 It is weird in the devils cross first mission. Eveything gets very, for lack of a better word, "humid" in the cockpit. Everything seems very junglish and hot and hazy. WarriorX Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I have seen it. If I had to guess it is a layer just below the cloud base that is rendered differently. You can pass through it many times, effect is the same every time. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "Is that you John Wayne?.......Is this me?" PeterP Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Hi, vegachavez Please post your system specs and a screen-shot of the anomalies and also a *.trk if possible. It would also help if you post your options.lua. This is essential to nail your problem down to one point instead doing it only by guessing. Finding the "options.lua": WindowsXP: rootfolder of DCS Warthog>MissionEditor>data>scripts Example: G:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS A-10C\MissionEditor\data\scripts\options.lua Windows7: Due to windows7 requirements settings are saved on your system drive in the "Saved Games" folder of your active profile of Win7. *User*>Saved Games>DCS Warthog>Config Example:C:\Users\PeterPank\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\Config\options.lua
