libertine Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 After recently purchasing DCS: A10 I now have run into a problem that bugs me a bit. Im currently doing my first campaign(Devils cross the name i thinks) and im on the 3rd mission now(the one where you have 3 wingmen) and somehow my fellows are very reluctant to taking off(or even taxiing for that matter). All 4 A10's are in hardened shelters at the start. Heres what happens: Fire up APU > Ask tower for startup Tower gives OK > Start engines and all the Rest Request Taxi > Tower gives OK Start Taxi, move past the shelter with #2 in it, #2 starts moving out and then just stops and remains sitting there no matter what I do from this point on the guy(along with the other 2) wont move at all. I can issue them commands over radio which they copy but still nothing happens. has anyone else encountered this or am i completely missing something there... ? It worked fine when I had only 1 Wigmen ...

If you want, you can go into the mission editor, and find that campain mission and move your plane and that of your wingmen to parking spaces 1-4, instead of the default ones inside the Hardened Aircraft Shelters. Save and exit the mission editor. This will spawn you and your wingman out on the apron near the end of Vaziani Airfield where you need to take off. nemises Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 The issue is being fixed as part of the patching effort. It may still be necessary for the developers and testers to rebuild the missions however as certain behind-the-scenes functionality is adjusted slightly.

Thats because they are scared of him and dont want to be late :megalol: Btw I dont think chuck norris needs wingmen. 1xCBU-87 should do it :smilewink:

nemises Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 I believe the missions were originally built during the beta, and the AI taxiing code has changed since then. I've since played the Campaign in a later build and it all works fine, so I expect next patch the updated campaign missions could be included
