Still one of my favorite missions. Everytime I play this mission something different happens. It's also a great mission to test your hardware.

It's a quick and dirty mission :pilotfly:

Because, IIRC, the first time I tried this mission a pair of AH-64 shot down my moron within seconds and then they were pinning me down using Hellfires fired one after another.

I see. I remember there are two Cobra's and two Blackhawks. I don't think there are apaches in this one.

Although the Cobra's do get on your case if you don't take them out early.

Maybe I confused it with another mission. Quite possible. You say you're re-discovering BS with that new shiny hardware. I guess you will be re-discovering it again when it gets post-WH upgrade :)

Exactly! That upgrade will be huge. I'll start the GOW campaigns all over again....hehehe.

The Apaches are hard. I run away if I'm not 100% it's not targeting me.

One thing I sometimes do is remember where friendly SAMS are and lure them into SAM range.

But most of the time it's best to just turn around and wait another day...or die... heheh

Turning away and flying smoothly won't cut it! Jink, jitter and jerk! :) You can try to engage them once you will be efficient engaging airborne targets while JJ&J at the same time :)

Wish I could take that risk, but Russia only has a few KA-50's and losing one would be a huge set back :-(

If it's in precisely 20 minutes intervals then I would bet it's a system issue - not sim issue.

OK i did a timer on it every 3 minuets the first 5 min of game then it subsides after the 4th 3 second lag. maybe a mod causing it? seems to be when the Arty is firing the most, and explosions.
