Hi, how i can force players to use pre selected weapons if i host mission?

 

Any way to disable reload radio menu or something like that ?

 

 

And HOW i can encrypt my missions? why we can't set password to missions so no one can't edit them (only fly them)

Totally agree that we should be able to disable reload customised payload, and maybe only allow to reload the default payload.

If I build a mission with 2 Mavs and no TGP for the players, I don't want them to rearm at the cold start and have a full payload !!

 

Mission encryption should be an option.

Maybe if we zip with old lockon mission password ":censored:" the game still manages to read it, and ppl without password can't open the file :hehe:

Arming took a step backwards in my opinion from FC1 to FC2/DCS! In FC1 you could pick what ever weapon you wanted to on any pylon before flight. Also, with Yoda's LEAVU mod we could in addition force payloads on a client.

 

Now in FC2/DCS we are stuck with default payload and list of pre-made payloads. You can customize them in the lua files, but it is a pain. On top of this, as the OP asks, there is no way to enforce a payload. The best you can do is file integrity check for the all the pre-made payloads.

 

You will never have a pre-made list of payloads that suits the needs of everyone. What would be sweet would be the option for a client to totally choose his payload with choice by pylon, as well as the option for a server to enforce payloads if wanted.

 

Perhaps we will get lucky and ED will redesign this aspect of the sim for MP.

 

Pehaps Haaku if you could trigger the destruction of the airport's comm tower you won't get the ground crew and won't be able to reload. In Blackshark this was a feature that never worked for me (would still get comms if the tower was destroyed), maybe it works in A-10C now.

in BS you couldn't rearm when airport is neutral or ennemy, which of course doesn't apply to your home base.

 

But, we could start in a FARP, and without propert units and building around, you couldn't change your payload at all, which was great !

why do you want to encrypt your missions?

 

Sounds a little...well mean, to me.. why not spread the love?

 

I agree with crunch.. the original payload system in LockOn was better. But i do like the fact that you can land and change your payload. But a combination of the two would be best.
