klkar4 Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 (edited) Thanks for the note. I brought this week 2 USB monitors and I use them for MFD's. The problem was that my FPS drop from 60-70 avg to 20-30 avg. I use DisplayLink for the USB monitors. After I install the new beta driver 270.51 I have return to 50-60 FPS avg. It's amazing, try it guys! Thanks man, I can enjoy now from my DCS+2 MFD's with minimal FPS lose :) Edit: Nope it's not help I found the problem. Edited March 30, 2011 by klkar4 1

CarneyUK Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Downloaded and installed.....no problems so far and does seem a little smoother. Still getting 30fps+ all the time. Lowest I have seen is 28 fps and never drops below :D "The sky is not the limit.....it's my playground!!" @paraglidecass
71st_Mastiff Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 silky smooth for my set up as well with the USB's thanks for the report I was skeptical since the last 3 months bad drivers for the USB's. " any failure you meet, is never a defeat; merely a set up for a greater come back, " W Forbes "Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts," Winston Churchill " He who never changes his mind, never changes anything," MSI z690 MPG DDR4 || i9-14900k|| ddr4-128gb PC3200 || MSI RTX 4080S|Game max 1300w|Win11| |turtle beach elite pro 5.1|| ViRpiL,T50cm2||MFG Crosswinds|| VT50CM-plus rotor Throttle || G10 RGB EVGA Keyboard/MouseLogitech || PiMax Crystal VR || 32 Asus||
GregP Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 The 270.51 drivers have given me a nice healthy 18% FPS boost, which brings me right back up to where I was at with Beta4 (for some reason the release version dropped my FPS by the exact same amount).
71st_Mastiff Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 these drivers are great but for DCS not so great, I found that in other games it not an issue but for some reason in DCS i.e Black Shark and FC2 I get horrendous lag or video freezes where the FPS drop to 0 FPS and long pause in the sim for as long as 30 seconds on FC2. 3 seconds lag freezes on Black Shark about every 5 to 20 min. :joystick: " any failure you meet, is never a defeat; merely a set up for a greater come back, " W Forbes "Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts," Winston Churchill " He who never changes his mind, never changes anything," MSI z690 MPG DDR4 || i9-14900k|| ddr4-128gb PC3200 || MSI RTX 4080S|Game max 1300w|Win11| |turtle beach elite pro 5.1|| ViRpiL,T50cm2||MFG Crosswinds|| VT50CM-plus rotor Throttle || G10 RGB EVGA Keyboard/MouseLogitech || PiMax Crystal VR || 32 Asus||
