ClearDark Posted April 28, 2011 Author Posted April 28, 2011 ClearDark, excellent work. I have question or request for You :). I'm dreaming to run the client HawgTouch on my mobile with Windows Mobile 5 (6).... Are You planning to do clients compatible with different operating systems (including mobile OS)? Running the CDU panel on the mobile touch screen... it will be nice :) Thanks for the feedback! Currently, there is no plans for Mobile OS's. As the development of HawgTouch progresses and continues to expand mainly on the PC's. Maybe in the far future :)

MustangSally Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Hey, hey....got everything up and running. Now I have my own .xml with left & right MFCD's and the UFC. I have assigned keys within the game but I'd like some direction on the key format when editing my .xml?? For example, in the game I have assigned LSHFT 0 to UFC 0. How then should this be stated in the xml file.. <Button> <Name>NUMPD0</Name> <PressedImage>\Images\UFC\ufc-button0-dwn.png</PressedImage> <DepressedImage>\Images\UFC\ufc-button0-up.png</DepressedImage> <Type>ClickButton</Type> <ID>12</ID> <Y>77 </Y> <X>310</X> <KeyCommand>????</KeyCommand> </Button> Ryzen 9 7950X3D - MSI MAG X670E TomaHawk MB, ASUS ROG Ryujin III 360 AIO 64gig Corsair DDR5@6000, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS Winwing Super Taurus, Orion2, TO / Combat panels, Collective with Topgun MIP Winwing Skywalker pedals, NLR Boeing Mil Edition Simpit, 55" Samsung Odyssey Ark, Trackir

estopinha Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 You forgive, it is possible to extract only the rwr in another PC??? And looked by the post, but I do not see like to do it. Thank you in advance
Nu-NRG Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 You forgive, it is possible to extract only the rwr in another PC??? And looked by the post, but I do not see like to do it. Thank you in advance To my knowledge it is not possible. This is not even a feature of hawgtouch. Hawgtouch will merely send/receive keypresses and send info over network. Exporting a viewport is part of the game. Aviate - Navigate - Communicate
shu77 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I've seen Touch buddy profiles for Lockon that export the RWR data and then recreate it so it should be possible. similarly the CMS display should be do-able. Heres a couple TB profiles with the code for exporting RWR, It would be nice actually, as throwing the RWR onto a seperate viewport doesnt work without ver well without some sort of an overlay, but I dont want to start running HT locally. http://www.touch-buddy.com/forums/local_links.php?action=jump&catid=4&id=71 http://www.touch-buddy.com/forums/local_links.php?action=jump&catid=4&id=112 Hornet, Super Carrier, Warthog & (II), Mustang, Spitfire, Albatross, Sabre, Combined Arms, FC3, Nevada, Gulf, Normandy, Syria AH-6J i9 10900K @ 5.0GHz, Gigabyte Z490 Vision G, Cooler Master ML120L, Gigabyte RTX3080 OC Gaming 10Gb, 64GB RAM, Reverb G2 @ 2480x2428, TM Warthog, Saitek pedals & throttle, DIY collective, TrackIR4, Cougar MFDs, vx3276-2k Combat Wombat's Airfield & Enroute Maps and Planning Tools
Xxx Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I am almost finished installing the warning panel by Tyrix, only problem is , whats it called in the A10c/cockpit/indicators/? shu77 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 You need to add a condition for each button, takes quite a while. Have a look at the profile I posted and change the image names if you like to be Tyrixs, which will speed it up. Basically each light is its own button and event. The LoMAC export is a bit different than DCS. I'll see what I can whip up :) Thanks for the samples!

That data is not exported in DCS. The functions return null objects instead of the tables they do in LOCMAC if I recall correctly. It's been a few months since I dug into it.
shu77 Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Thats a nuisance, outputted RWR to the second PC would be awesome. shu77 Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Hey ClearDark, one other small request if I may. When you pass the Export.lua could you please maintain these strings if present dofile("./Config/Export/TacviewExportDCS.lua") dofile("./Config/Export/TARSExportA10.lua") Theres also going to be one for LOTATC but I dont have that at present. Its not a big thing, but it just simplifies the install by another step. MustangSally Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 (edited) Is there any way I can pick and choose which instruments I can view on my secondary monitor. For example, I'd just like to have a strip of engine instruments running horizantally between the UFC and MFCDS?? Does it have to be re-sized?? It's been a few months since I dug into it. Thanks, that's a bit weird tho. The TEWS could be exported perfectly in LoMac...I wonder what's been changed since DCS supports most of the "old" calls.
xXstubbifiedXx Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Hey ClearDark, do you know what the possible timeline is for the Steam-compatible version? shu77 Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 What about the grey background that the instruments are placed on. Does it have to be re-sized?? Yeah, you can see the panel in my config is 1024x1024 to allow for extra realestate for a Control panel. ClearDark Posted May 1, 2011 Author Posted May 1, 2011 Hey ClearDark, do you know what the possible timeline is for the Steam-compatible version? No rush, just curious ;D Version 1.6 (next release) will be compatible with Steam. I've written several people around these boards requesting some help with the Steam release as I don't have that specific copy. I'm still waiting on some answers, I'll post updates soon :) 1
