Hi guys, I'm wondering if I'm using the right tactit to run in (maybe not considering the results). I'm approaching target given by JTAC duirectly at low altitude but it's difficult to find it everytime. Increasing altitude I'm scared of MIG and SAM. Do you use different tactics? Is there any good manual?

thanks

It totally depends on the situation, but most of the time you have air superiority and the only threats are low altitude SAMs and AAA; thus, it's safest to fly at like 22+ thousand feet. Spotting targets is more difficult from up there though, but not if you're just having the JTAC point you to stuff to blow up.

You gotta look at the threats and make the judgement call yourself.
