roob Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 I just took off and a longer-than-usual landing gear sound followed. Quick glance in external view shows my left landing gear is stuck. Is there any way to get it back in or do I have to land and restart the mission? My DCS stream [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Past broadcasts, Highlights Currently too much to do... Kenan Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 AFAIK there's a manual gear retraction handle (or something like that). I had a similar problem with my front wheel and it didn't really do anything so I just had to land like that. Snoopy Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 There ia no such thing on a A-10 for manual retract, only emergency extension. v303d Fighter Group Discord | Virtual 303d Fighter Group Website
ttaylor0024 Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 When you take off, dont start banking away until your gear is up. I used to get that alot, but then someone told me to not turn while I am raising the gear.
roob Posted April 17, 2011 Author Posted April 17, 2011 Alright, guess I'll just have to be a bit more careful when raising it next time then :) My DCS stream [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Past broadcasts, Highlights Currently too much to do... But watch and (maybe) learn something :)
