mooshim Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Read this here http://en.wiki.eagle.ru/wiki/JTAC making the distinction of the three types in effect. The significance of 2 or 3--to me as a pilot acquiring and delivering ordnance to target--is still something that escapes me. Does anyone have a suggestion? It's still a bit opaque for me. Thanks. 159th_Viper Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 To you as a Pilot it makes no difference whatsoever: You are tasked to put ordinance on a specific target/set of co-ordinates - fullstop. Distinction between 2 and 3 resides with the JTAC and the level of control/authority he has/exercises iro the engagement. That's my understanding.
