LASTE - WIND CORRECTION

In short I have read several posts on the use of Wind Correction however there still seems to be a debate as to whether or not it works. Have I missed something or is this still up for debate?

 

In other words is there a verdict on if it is working and affecting dumb bomb accuracy?

I've been experimenting with it as well as monitoring the forums here since the earlier discussion but have neither anything new to add nor have I seen any more info here on the topic.
