Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

so basically the TM Warthog (though you might have a problem with the throttle PCB having to be fixed under warranty) is pretty much the best stick around as of Q2 2011?

Absolutely no question in my mind that's true (speaking in context of out of the box mass produced kit). Now before anyone jumps on me about cost you also absolutely pay for every bit of that designation.

Probably from years to come(i hope), as CH won t realease her version for public.

If i would have to do some ranking:

1) TM warthog

2) X65

3) Whatever.

HaF 922, Asus rampage extreme 3 gene, I7 950 with Noctua D14, MSI gtx 460 hawk, G skill 1600 8gb, 1.5 giga samsung HD.

Its hard to say...

T flight hotas is aimed at entrance market.

G940 is aimed at elite market, the problem with the G940 its the fact it has so many problems its considered a failure by some (or the market in general?).

So its hard to compare.

What options would you have ?

Noc every review I have read on that product (the T-Flight Hotas) says its high quality. Every person that I have come across that has owned it has been happy with it. I don't know real specific details about it (one thing is the stick and throttle separate into two units). For the price I say give it a try.

my options are either a G940 or a T-flight HOTAS. I'm more inclined to the Thrustmaster lineage since they are producers of the warthog, so I think quality is granted. Logitech are peripherals (IIRC) and based on your views of it, and views of youtubers I've read, I'd say I'll go with the HOTAS..

no I'm getting the T-Flight stick.. I'd rather pay cheap than pay a hefty sum over a dead thing like the G940..

Sound reasoning, the G940 was the biggest hardware anticlimax ever without doubt. Aimed at the high end with worse precision than anything else on the market, to its credit i really like the stick and FFB in prop sims. You'll never regret a Warthog once they're availble in your area.
