I am just starting to get into Flight Sims mostly because of this game and I want to get a good joystick.

1) Is the Warthog worth it?

2) Will it work well with other games like FSX or IL2 (this factors into the worth)?

3) Does it have force feedback or is that not really needed at all?

1) Most definitely worth it!

2) Yes it does.

3) No, but IMO its not really needed anyway.

BTW, it doesn't come with rudder pedals so you might want to look into getting some of those. Saitek has some good rudder pedals if you're willing to spend the money. http://www.saitek.com/

It will work with any game that employs a joystick.

It does not have force feedback, and it's not needed (nor desired by many).

1. Its well worth it!

2. Yes

3. No, as above not needed.

Just be aware that there are issues with the device. I would suggest that if you do get one you unplug it after every use. My throttle died apparently from USB power surge or static after I power up/down my PC. Check the list of motherboards that have had throttles die on them.

Thrustmaster support seems good enough. Unfortunately I live in South Africa so getting mine fixed with them is kinda out of the question.

YOU WILL LOVE THE JOYSTICK THOUGH.

Enjoy.
