asparagin
It's short software that let's you create custom solar systems, galaxies or modify characteristics of planetary objects (mass) and see how they react. It uses Newton gravity physics, and can go to the limit of your CPU when lots of bodies ;) Here a video, it's available through Steam, and I think there is also a demo version on their page. PS: Yes you can bombard earth with tons of asteroids! http://universesandbox.com/ Spoiler AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, MSI MEG X570 UNIFY (AM4, AMD X570, ATX), Noctua NH-DH14, EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti XC3 ULTRA, Seasonic Focus PX (850W), Kingston HyperX 240GB, Samsung 970 EVO Plus (1000GB, M.2 2280), 32GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4-3600 DIMM CL16, Cooler Master 932 HAF, Samsung Odyssey G5; 34", Win 10 X64 Pro, Track IR, TM Warthog, TM MFDs, Saitek Pro Flight Rudders
Ali Fish
got this on release too. very nice program. somthing ive always wanted etc etc. not many chances to see our solar system with ourselves at the centre. And over in the space sim thread i had suggested having a full motion system in my fantasy space sim. this probally could help with that idea i dare say. but its fun adding celestial bodies to our system and seeing the effects. ive also been playing with 2 stars pushing and pulling each other and planets traversing bewtween orbits. this program all seems to be quite a good cpu stress tester. the most boring video ever made lol. EtherealN
I bought it earlier today and well... asparagin
haha, I thought you'd like it, did you make black holes yet? (well pseudo-black holes..) EtherealN
No, but I did spend some time making a replica of the solar system + a Nibiru in a highly elliptical orbit. Unfortunately the makers of this simulation are clearly part of the conspiracy to hide Nibiru's impending arrival in 2012, since it insists that Nibiru would already be very very close and easily spotted. Damn new world order. :D Another fun thing I did was create a system of 8 stars, 7 with 1 solar mass and one with 2 solar masses. (And none of them in anything even approaching an "orbit" with the other.) Everyone knows that three-body interactions can create fun results, but 8-body-interactions is just hilarity. :D [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Daniel "EtherealN" Agorander | Даниэль "эфирныйн" Агорандер Intel i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz, ASUS GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB, Samsung 830series 512GB SSD, Corsair AX850w, two BENQ screens and TM HOTAS Warthog DCS: A-10C Warthog FAQ | DCS: P-51D FAQ | Remember to read the Forum Rules | | | Life of a Game Tester
asparagin
Everyone knows that three-body interactions can create fun results, but 8-body-interactions is just hilarity. :D They are using some approximations, but my math never heard of what Runge Katta does, and I feel, googling won't help me ..:( Spoiler AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, MSI MEG X570 UNIFY (AM4, AMD X570, ATX), Noctua NH-DH14, EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti XC3 ULTRA, Seasonic Focus PX (850W), Kingston HyperX 240GB, Samsung 970 EVO Plus (1000GB, M.2 2280), 32GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4-3600 DIMM CL16, Cooler Master 932 HAF, Samsung Odyssey G5; 34", Win 10 X64 Pro, Track IR, TM Warthog, TM MFDs, Saitek Pro Flight Rudders
