Bahger Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 I have three flights of A-10s (each a 2-ship). I have classified each a/c as "Client". As you know, there are no actual "flight" groupings in A-10 MP, you have to create individial aircraft and just organise/locate/name them as "flights". When I load the mission in the MP .exe, none of the A-10s show up. Should I make one a/c in each flight "Player" and the other "Client"? Thanks for the assist, as ever.
joey45 Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 Nope. single planes. If you want the planes to be Human controlled then make a new flight.. three flights of 2 = 6 so 6 A10s on their lonesome with their own Waypoints. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Ripcord Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 I have the same question and I did not really understand the answer here. I get that only one plane in any given flight can be human. Can we have a flight of 2, with one player being human and his wingman is AI? If so, can I have two more flights like this? Or do each and every flight have to be single A10C human with no AI wingmen at all? Thanks for your patience. Have not gotten into MP yet? Ripcord [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Druid_ Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Each group should have the fist aircraft as CLIENT and any additional aircraft grouped should be Good/Excellent etc. Good idea to make sure each group have different callsigns. When you run the mission using a MP host server then only the client names should show up. It was some time ago I did this, but it doid work for a 2 client plus 2 AI mission I had (edited one of DCSs campaign missions). Might have been a beta version even so don't know if this still works in 1.0.0.7 release version but should methinks. i7-7700K : 16Gb DDR4 2800 Mhz : Asus Mobo : 2TB HDD : Intel 520 SSD 240gb : RTX 2080ti: Win10 64pro : Dx10 : TrackiR4 : TM Warthog : ASUS ROG SWIFT PG348Q
Ripcord Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Great, thanks Druid. Sounds like a bit of testing might be in order. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
