monty67t Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 (edited) I am looking for a squadron in North America to play DCS: A-10C with. I do need a lot of training, but I'm very anxious to learn. I've played some flight simulations in the past, including DCS: Black Shark, Lock On, and Flaming Cliffs 2. I'm 34 years old and spent 7 years in the U.S. Army as a UH-60 Black Hawk crew chief. I'm mature and dedicated and I'm looking forward to finding some good guys to fly with. Edited December 31, 2012 by monty67t

CaptKornDog Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 I, too, would be looking for a group who are active, professional, and personable (preferably North America). I recall seeing someone use the term "adopt-a-noob" recently and I'm essentially looking for something similar. Had A-10 since it's official release but only really started getting the hang of things over the past two weeks. I'd be looking for an environment that might be able to train some of the advanced aspects of the game...particularly large group missions, defense against anti-air units, advanced locating targets/navigation, and I definitely need to just brush up on CCIP and unguided weapons. Basically someone who is just getting their footing a little past the basics. Feel free to PM me as well, thanks! CaptKornDog
WH_Boomer Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 ~S~ all, The War Hawks are currently recruiting all skill levels for a variety of sims. We are currently supporting of DCS:A-10C, of course, along with Rise of Flight and IL-2:1946 with the HSFX mod pack. We also have several members who enjoy DCS:Blackshark, FC 2.0, and a few of us have started flying Cliffs of Dover. (But we are waiting on the official North American release before committing to a scheduled event for this sim) Check out the links in my sig for cockpit trainers we have released along with our recruiting post in the thread EtherealN linked to. Hope to hear from you soon, ~S~ Boomer DCS: Blackshark Cockpit Trainer DCS: A-10C Cockpit Trainer
Speed Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 And not to mention the 16th ACCW Flying Tigers... link in my signature. There's a lot of good squads out there to choose from, no worries there.
