fael097 Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Hi, I was trying to use the mark points function the other day, but had some trouble. I dont know if you can "visualize" the points representation like in the hud, or TAD, nor how many you can actually mark, and if you can delete them. I probably overlooked the manual, as I'm reading it right now, so if there's an explanation for marking points, please point me the page. otherwise, I'd appreciate a decent explanation of how it works! thanks in advance Rafael Ryzen 7 1800x @ 4ghz | MSI GTX 980ti | 32gb DDR4 Ballistix 2400Mhz | Asus ROG Crosshair VII Hero (wi-fi) | 480Gb Kingston NVMe ssd | Western Digital 1TB x2 | EVGA 850w PSU | Noctua NH-D14 | NZXT S240 | Windows 10 Pro 64bit | 4k 50" Philips android TV | Dell P2418D | Oculus Rift S | Thrustmaster Warthog Hotas
roob Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Don't think you can visualize them... From what I remember they go from A through Y, and where Z is the SPI (or something like that). You can't delete them and once you've reached Y the next one will overwrite A. This is a good guide I used which cover the markpoints somewhat. 636_Castle Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Switch your STPT knob to show markpoints, instead of F-PLN. Now your marked points will be shown on the TAD and on your HUD as steerpoints, with the names "Markpoint A, Markpoint B" etc. Check my YouTube channel for a quick video on how to get through the quickstart mission. In that video, I demonstrate using markpoints. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] How To Fix Your X-52's Rudder!

Sinky Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 You can also use the UFC so that you don't have to go heads down. To access mark points press FUNC + 8 then cycle through and when you want your FPLAN back just press FUNC + 7. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] ASUS M4A785D-M Pro | XFX 650W XXX | AMD Phenom II X4 B55 Black Edition 3.2ghz | 4GB Corsair XMS2 DHX 800mhz | XFX HD 5770 1GB @ 850/1200 | Windows 7 64bit | Logitech G35 | Logitech Mx518 | TrackIR 4 My TrackIR Profile ( Speed 1.2 / Smooth 30 ) - Right click & save as.
