Blue water black sky, Nothing else

Guys,

I have gotten a wierd graphics glitch several times now. Last time it happened I was watching a great LGB explosion from the weapons view and then the sim went dark except for blue water and black sky. Some smoke effects were still working and I could change views, but nothing else would display. All other aspects of the sim continued. Sound, controls, etc.

 

Any ideas why this keeps happening. I'm up to date on drivers, etc.

 

Using Radeon 6980 2GB, Driver 8.841-110405a-116954C-ATI

Catalyst 11.4

5760x2130 four displays, MSFCs and CDU exported to fourth display. Main screen is blue water and black sky, instrument monitor is black.

You need to provide us with a little more system info, especially OS type etc

Mustangs /3gb switch should help here. It sounds like XP version of the out of memory error.
